Name: Cameron Milford
Brief Blurb: Cameron Milford is a songwriter from Brisbane, Australia. His brand of "Suburban Roots Music" combines the sound of Folk, Country and Americana with stories of modern love and other natural disasters. His approach to songwriting has drawn comparisons to artists such as Paul Kelly, John Prine and JJ Cale. Cameron started out in the alt-country scene of Brisbane enjoying success with the bands "Inntown" and "The Golden Spurs". After a while he decided to explore life beyond the jacarandas and humidity. He packed his bags and began an 18 month journey across USA and Europe. While on this trip he stopped in Nashville Tennessee, and quickly decided that "Music City" was his new home. Within a few months he emerged with a group of songs inspired by the sounds of Nashville and his stories from the road. These songs became the foundation for his debut album "Highway Wind". Since the release of "Highway Wind" Cameron has shared the stage with artists such as Paul Kelly, Charles Jenkins and Steve Grady. His compelling songwriting combined with his love of a good story always make for a great show.
