Name: Not Dead Yet
Brief Blurb: Our name Not Dead Yet (borrowed from a Styx song) declares that we remember the Sixties and Seventies and, like the music from those golden years, we are still going strong! Our enthusiasm for classic rock and pop has brought us together, and that’s what we play – with a sprinkling of more contemporary material, too. Our sound is defined by David and Philip’s twin guitars and Harvey and Phil’s rhythmic foundations, with Jeanel’s keyboards adding colour. Out front, Jeanel’s lead vocals are augmented by Harvey and David. We have been together for 5 years and our gigs have ranged from landmark outdoor events such as Wintersun and Rockin’ Tewantin to Relay for Life, and the Tongue & Groove Cafe in Brisbane’s funky West End.
