9.00 - 9.45 pm - Second Act
So bring your instruments and your voices! The blackboard segment will be first in first served. There is a full bar and food is available at reasonable prices.

Brief Blurb:

Naomi and Alexa are an up-and-coming folk fiddle duo from Brisbane, who have a passion for Scottish Fiddle Music. They were both introduced to the style during their high schooling, and have since have collaborated to play both contemporary and traditional tunes from Scotland, Sweden, Cape Breton and Australia. Both Alexa and Naomi are classically trained in violin, and violin and cello respectively, and are currently studying music at university. Naomi and Alexa have performed at many events and festivals such as weddings, fundraising and community events. They have performed and participated at several festivals including Woodford Folk Festival and the National Folk Festival in Canberra as part of various groups, as well as regularly attending workshops, masterclasses and intensive fiddle camps in Queensland and interstate, as well as NZ and the UK.
