Described as energetic, genuine and undeniably Australian, Bart Thrupp’s enthusiasm for life and for music is contagious. He’s proved popular with festival crowds having performed at Byron Bay Bluesfest, Caloundra Music Festival and the Flower Food and Wine Festival, and with a slew of local competitions under his belt Bart sang his way to the national finals of the Telstra Road to Discovery Competition. Bart has also supported the likes of Clare Bowditch, Daryl Braithwaite, Dave Faulkner, Kev Carmody, Jack Jones and James Reyne just to name a few.

A storyteller at heart, it's evident that Bart is truly inspired by his life on the road and the people he meets. After touring extensively throughout 2012, Bart entered the studio with a swag of songs and has emerged with three solid tracks!

Multi skilled and constantly multitasking, his folk pop melodies always have a touch of something more. Bart draws on a variety of popular genres, his tunes swinging from sweet vocals to rocking acoustic guitar, then dropping some beats while throwing in random bluegrass instruments along the way. Working through an already extensive repertoire, his simple yet dynamic one-man-band set-up is served with irrepressible charm, winning audiences from Cairns to Adelaide.
