So bring your instruments and your voices! The blackboard segment will be first in first served. There is a full bar and food is available at reasonable prices.

Brief Blurb: Matty’s performances create a space of museful reverence. His songs entwine colorful jazz harmony, swooning soul melody, and innovative guitar styling’s. Major influences include Stevie Wonder, Joni Mitchell, Duke Ellington, and Jeff Lang. Matty Witney grew up in regional Queensland. His parents are passionate folk musicians, and were very active in the grassroots folk scene of Brisbane. After studying Jazz guitar at southern cross university he relocated to Melbourne, where alongside the bread and butter jazz gigs, he was involved with a number of outfits, including ‘Clairy Browne and The Banging Rackettes’ ‘Saritah’ ‘The Jelly Tub Rollers’ and ‘The Harry James Angus Band’. Playing with these acts he has toured Australia and performed at many major festivals.
