Name: Sue Wighton and Wayne Jennings
Brief Blurb: Sue Wighton and Wayne Jennings have been happily collaborating for the last couple of years when the mood takes them. Sue is a singer songwriter with a great voice and a repertoire which encompasses the best of folk, jazz and contemporary song. Sue’s intuitive approach to music is beautifully complemented by the rich and passionate cello playing of Wayne Jennings. Wayne’s prodigious talent is always in demand — whether it’s as a session musician, cabaret performer or on international tours with the ground-breaking Deep Blue Orchestra. Together Sue and Wayne deliver up a gorgeous musical experience —interspersing starkly powerful traditional tunes with the songs of Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen and some of Sue’s original material. With their strong on-stage connection, wit and wondrous musical offerings, this duo leaves audiences delightfully entertained and enriched.
