Name: The BUg Cabinet Band
Brief Blurb: The B.U.g Cabinet Band (The BCB) is made up exclusively of the people who present the B.U.g at the Muddy Farmer every Thursday night. Tonight it is their turn to entertain you at Brisbane’s premier acoustic music venue with a unique mixture of music hand picked for your delight. Tonight will be the BCB’s debut, yet amazingly they scorn the use of a safety net even knowing that all it takes is one slip. This is a must see show, bring your friends, bring yer Granny.

The BCB have been around the music scene for years and if you can add up their ages you would be very good at sums. Best of all they come with a money-back guarantee, love them or accept a refund of twice the amount you lashed out to hear them.

All BCB members sing and play delightfully, especially when well oiled. Tonight Auld Johnny Logan will play his 5 strings banjo, John Groome, Tony Mockeridge and Dave Burton their guitars, Dave might even take out his ukulele but we will have to wait and see. Danny Holmes will be there ar an bosca ceol agus fiddle, Scott Collins will strum and sing also. And we have Suzy Fish who, as always, will sing for us like a linnet and Mark Dalton will sing a song from days long gone.

Definitely a must see band, remember, this is a one-off performance because of the enormous cost of getting them all together. Apon me word, BCB members, like their music, come from all over the world just to be at the B.U.g,. Johnny is frae Motherwell, Scott had to be flown in from Orange County and John from Liverpool. Suzy just made it out of Zimbabwe, Tony ran out of luck and was not detained on Christmas Island. Dave, attracted by the camp fire light, wandered in from the western suburbs while Danny and Mark are both from Waterford, different Waterfords of course, hemispherically separated and a long way apart with stacks of daylight in between.
