Name: Ichabod's Crane
Brief Blurb: Brisbane singer-songwriter, Ichabod's Crane, plays a unique style of indie-folk music. Her 2007 Ep, 'the Devil & the Deity', received national airplay on JJJ, & was described by Scene magazine as 'hauntingly beautiful'.... She first performed in Melbourne, mid 2006, followed by a spot at Brisbane's Ladyfest later that year. She has since played at numerous venues in Brisbane, & Melbourne, as well in Tokyo, & at the coastal NSW festival, Meow to the Moon & the Sustainable Arts & Music Festival @ Peat's Ridge, Sydney, 2008. In 2008, she collaborated with Portuguese artist, 'the Partisan Seed', on the track 'Ofelia', with the duet receiving high rotation airplay overseas. Collaborating with drummer, Min Laidlaw, & cellist, Sophie Adamus, in 2009, Ichabod's Crane is working on new material for recordings later in the year.
