Name: Mark Cryle and the Redeemers
Brief Blurb: Recently described by Rhythms Magazine as “one of Australia’s finest singer songwriters” whose “pithy and catchy songs resonate deeply and manage to reflect the Australian psyche”, Mark Cryle cut his teeth with the band Spot the Dog but has since emerged as a force to be reckoned with as singer songwriter with his releases Notches on the Wall (2006), House of Cards, (which was voted Folk Alliance Australia’s CD of the year for 2009) and most recently Sideshow Alley (2011).

Mark will be performing with Richard Evans (guitar, harmonica, vocals), Mick Patrick (fiddle, mandolin vocals), Andrew Heath (bass) & Sue Hibbs (percussion). These superb musicians join Mark in concert as The Redeemers.

Mark Cryle is one of the best songwriters in Australia … Noel Mengel, Courier Mail.
