Brief Blurb: Katie Wighton is the guitarist/vocalist in ARIA-award winning folk outfit All Our Exes Live in Texas.

\r\nIn 2017 All Our Exes Live in Texas won the ARIA award for Best Blues & Roots Album for their critically acclaimed debut, “When We Fall”. In the same year they went home with “Folk Act of the Year” at both the National Live Music Awards and AU Review Awards. Songs from the album were also nominated for the Vanda & Young Songwriting Competition and APRA Song of the Year. They also provided backing vocals for Kesha’s platinum single, Praying.

\r\nIn 2019 Katie began working on her solo releases with an EP release in 2020 and a debut album in 2023. Her third single You Act Like A Child from her self-titled EP, received much acclaim \"You Act Like a Child\" is a heartfelt exploration of vulnerability wrapped up in bold indie rock goodness.

\r\nEarmilk Her debut album The End released in June 2023 was nominated for an ARIA award for Best Blues and Roots Album and was also shortlisted for the Australian Music Prize. ★★★★ Rolling Stone, Australia
