Ian “Ziggy” Tredinnick

From a very early age Bluegrass has been Ziggy’s music of choice, he was involved in the early Sydney bluegrass scene in the 70s and 80s and in recent years partnered with John Holmberg in the Elderly Brothers. He is known for his high tenor singing and fine guitar playing. He has joined with Fred Graham and Benja King, two gifted musicians in their world of Celtic and Jazz music. The trio has always been keen to jam and share music genres at festivals, workshops and gigs, and have put together a rich evocative repertoire of songs and tunes reflecting these origins.

Fred Graham

Fred Graham is well-seasoned fiddle player known for his Irish fiddling with Sasta and jazz manouche playing with the late Ewan Mackenzie in Mystery Pacific. However, since his teenage years, Fred has held a fascination with the great bluegrass fiddler's like Vassar Clements, Kenny Baker, Byron Berline, Mark O' Connor and Stuart Duncan. Fred reunites with Ziggy after they performed in several bluegrass ensembles together in they late 90's"

Benja King

While Benja lives and plays in Brisbane, he has performed at Woodford Folk Festival (2017, 2018), The Planting (2016, 2018), Jungle Love Festival (2016, 2018), Tablelands Folk Festival (2018), and more. While freelance work is a significant aspect to Benja’s musical activity, he is currently a member of Amy Jane and her Vipers (Gypsy Jazz), Zumpa (Italian Folk) and Crooked Beak (Ambient/Jazz) and is working to complete a bachelor of music majoring in jazz bass at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University.
