Slim Dime and Blue Limit wish to announce that we’re joining forces, taking our relationship to the “next level”, and uniting in the birth of our latest band lovechild “Five Dime Limit”. In the natural next step of our long-standing mutual admiration, shared passion for bluegrass and old time music, many late night whisky fueled festival sessions and touring together this amazing union promises to combine the best of both bands in an original, unique and super fat sounding 5 piece. Playing songs from the Bluegrass repertoire with a fresh approach and a few unexpected numbers - all grassed up. Five Dime Limit explode with high-energy instrumentals and charm with the sweetest of mountain harmonies, all delivered with passion and joy of performance.

As a duo, Slim Dime have seamlessly mastered the feel of days gone by, with their unique, old fashioned “music for the literate hillbilly”. Blue Limit are a dynamic trio, who together combine amazing bluegrass picking and goose bump rendering high lonesome harmonies. And never fear!!! For all you dedicated followers of Slim Dime and Blue Limit, both bands will continue their individual magical musical journeys outside the Five Dime Limit collaboration, however when we unite as 5 – be sure to have your tappin’ toes and the moonshine jar handy!
