Name: Lawrie White
Brief Blurb:

Lawrie is a local folk singer. He spent his childhood in the 50’s influenced by cowboy TV shows; his teens in the 60’s influenced by the music of the time & his formative, early adult life in western Queensland (influence- country aesthetic). With the twin rivers of family & work life slowing to meander, Lawrie found his musical bedrock in early American popular folk music.

Lawrie, with special guests, welcomes you all to come in & join in the music of The Carter Family, Jimmy Rodgers & Woody Guthrie as he sings songs of love and trains and protest & hope.. - there’s always hope.
