Sallynoggin is the joyful amalgamation of three award-winning musicians and good friends. Kristin and Alan Kelly have been at the heart of Australian/Irish band The Barleyshakes for many years, performing at festivals across Europe and Australia. Alan Kelly is the winner of a Queensland Music Award for world music category and bodhran player in The Lord of the Rings film soundtrack. Nadia Sunde is a singer/songwriter and actress who works regularly in concert, cabaret and theatre formats and is the winner of a Queensland Music Award for best female vocal, an APRA Art Music Award and an International Songwriting Competition award. This trio love making music together and in 2018 decided to launch a project that ensures they get as many chances as possible to do so. Performing a collection of selected covers and originals Sallynoggin showcases two of Australias most unique voices and one of its finest fiddle players in a trio that holds joy at its heart and rhythm in its feet.
