Name: Kieran Neary
Brief Blurb: So I'm a traditional Irish folk singer from Ballina, Mayo in the west of Ireland . Playing music for a long time, started out in an Irish ceili band called the Bofield Ceili Band up until I was about 16. Then started getting more interested in irish folk ballads. Christy Moore, the Pogues, the Dubliners, are some of the artists I like to cover, anything with a story , I enjoy singing folk tales. So from there I played in some small local venues in Mayo, in a two piece called "Steel n Smalls " 😀 I've just arrived in Brisbane, been here about a month , just settling into Australian life.
