Name: Anais Campbell
Brief Blurb: There are many people singing Anais’s praises right now. Her talent has been recognised both at home and abroad with people in the industry describing her as an artist who not only has a captivating voice, but writes her own songs, plays piano and guitar and can knock out some beautiful harmonies to boot. Anais honed her performing chops on festival stages, including Tamworth, Bundaberg and the Gympie Muster, where she has twice been a finalist at the Junior Talent Search.

Her eight-track EP, Push Through, recorded in Nashville, shows off her songwriting range, from the charmingly joyful To Our Home, to the moving title track, to the heart-soaringly romantic My Veins, which was picked up by radio network KIX Country, making their top 20 playlist.

She travelled to Nashville on two trips, walked the footsteps of many stars, singing at the famous Bluebird Cafe and Douglas Corner Cafe, where Keith Urban regularly performs. The venues are landmark locations on her favourite TV show, Nashville. Whilst there, she also took lessons with Beyonce’s own vocal coach, Kim Wood Sandusky.

Her first show was at the Gympie Muster at age 11 and she played again in 2017 at the Emerging Talent Showcase, where her sensitive performance of John Lennon’s Imagine blew audiences away. As well as the Muster, she has twice been a finalist at the Ekka Country Music Showdown, in 2016 and 2017, and cut her teeth at Tamworth’s Academy of Country Music in 2014.
