Name: Sue, Rose and Rebecca
Brief Blurb: Sue Wighton, Rose Broe and Rebecca Wright: AKA The Bright Sisters Sue Wighton is a respected Brisbane-based singer/songwriter who’s sung just about everything from jazz to classical to folk. Whether performing covers or her own songs, Sue’s approach is honest, sometimes irreverent but always engaging. Sue has invited two talented musicians and friends to join her on stage for a special Bug performance. Rose Broe is a superb musician – renowned for her gifted accordion playing and sensitive vocal harmonies in bands like Pirate Brides and Three Miles From Texas. Everyone loves Rose’s beaming smile (which belies a penchant for the occasional killer between-songs one-liner.) The charming and intuitive Rebecca Wright will bring her gorgeous cello playing and sympathetic harmonies to the stage. These gals – let’s just call them the Bright Sisters, OK? – will make you swoon, laugh, weep or possibly simply drink too much and fall down.
