Name: Songlines
Brief Blurb: Since 1996, Songlines singers have uplifted countless audiences with songs of justice for Indigenous peoples and others who are exploited, downtrodden and oppressed, with harmonies for peace when wars are the norm, and with mantras for enviro-sanity as we lay waste to our homelands. Nicolas House is Songlines Musical Director who has led the ensemble since early 2008. Nick is much loved and appreciated by singers and audiences alike, not just because he’s a music educator par excellence with a Masters degree in choral conducting, he’s as personable as he is professional. Listening to this mob, you know there’s hope for the country and for the planet.
